Our other rang of conveyor systems “Western work� Overhead Conveyor Systems Twin-T Bar type for light to medium duty. Super type for medium to heavy duty. I-Beam type for heavy to super heavy duty. WESTERNWORK TWIN T- BAR OVERHEAD CONVEYOR SYSTEM HERE’S HOW IT WORKS Self cornering 3-wheel trolleys move freely on simple T-Bar track taking horizontal and vertical turns with ease. In straight section double T-Bar is provided whereas in horizontal turn third T-Bar is provided on the outer edge to guide the outer wheel which lifts up slightly while negotiating the curve. In vertical up or down turns four, T-Bars are employed for full rolling contact. Motive Power is provided by a smooth-action caterpillar drive unite and a screw type take-up unit is provided at 180� horizontal turn to adjust the required tension of the conveyor system. Two types of lubricators are provided depending upon the conveyor application for proper lubrication of the conveyor wheels. SPECIFICATION Track: double T-Bar, low carbon steel; 38*38*6mm; minimum turn radius as 610mm. Trolleys: 305, 228 or 152 mm spacing; 6 mm thick trolley plate; 48 mm die CRCA double ball bearing wheels duly hardened; 8 mm dia hard drawn steel bar connecting links to suit trolley spacing. Trolleys capacities: 3 wheel type-40kgs.; 5 wheel type-60 kegs. 5 wheel with load bar-100 kegs. Drive Unite: Caterpillar type, 1 H. P. motor suitable coupled to warm reducing unit, speed optional, chain pull 45 kegs. And fitted with safety shear pin device to protect the conveyor from accidental damage due to overload, jamming etc… Take-Up-Unit: Screw type or weighted type as optional. Lubrication : Gravity oilier brush or Air-Mist as optional. SPECIAL FEATURES Most economical for light to medium duty loads. Flexibility in horizontal and vertical planes and can be added to or altered, to suit changing needs with minimal downtime. Completely accessible throughout. No inspection stations are required. Operation in ambient temperatures ranging from- 40°C to 250°C. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS Specially designed trolleys with two nos. hardened wheels run on the lower flange of the I-beam track. These trolleys not only support the chain but also carry the required load. Rollers are provided in all horizontal turns to hold the conveyor chain under the vertical centerline of the I- beam. Conveyor motion and speed is provided by the drive unit mounted in a ‘floating’ type frame. Screw type-up unite maintains correct chain tension. SPECIFICATIONS Track: Fabricated from standard I-beam sections 75mm to 150mm to suit load requirements. Trolley Components: ‘Wheels’ made from low carbon steel duly hardened with a specially designed rolling profile; ‘Brackets’ forged from high carbon steel for maximum strength; Pressure type grease fittings provided for lubrication of bearings while triple labyrinth seal construction protects the bearings most effectively. Three types of trolley constructions are available for different load requirements. Chain: All the three components viz the centre link, side link and connecting link are drop-forged from high carbon steel for greater strength and further heat-treated to increase resistance to wear, corrosion, abrasion and to withstand shock loads. Three types of rivet-less chain viz X-348, X-458, X-678 are available to suit customer’s individual load requirement. Drive Unite: Standard ‘floating’ caterpillar type drive unit with chain pull up to 5000 kegs. Caterpillar chain made of precision steel rollers with driving dogs. Sprocket type drive is also available for lighter load application. Take-up Unit: ‘Screw’ type mounted in 180° horizontal roller turn to maintain required chain tension. ‘spring’ type also available. SPECIAL FEATURES Most proven universal design for heavy to super heavy duty loads up to 1000 kegs. Unit load per hanger. Unique chain design, simple, economical yet very strong and lighter per unit of ultimate strength than any other conveyor chain. Rugged ‘attachments’ to carry the maximum trolley load with ample built-in safety factors to withstand shock and eccentric loading. Synchronized multi-drives available for longer lengths. Completely standardized with flexibility in layout and requiring very low maintenance.
